Aisha Jamila hinds, a well-known American actor. The actress is well known for the roles she played in the TV show The Shield, and True Blood. She has proven her versatility throughout 2003, delivering impressive performances in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her character Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the feminist activists Fannie Lou Hammer attracted her into the limelight of the world at large. Hind was praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show has been renewed for a third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently finished filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
