Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush The Big Time Rush, an
American pop boy group was founded in the year 2009. The group consists of
Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They
signed their first contract with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records
transferred them to their new label. The group starred in Nickelodeon's TV
series with the identical title, Big Time Rush. From November 28, 2009 through
July 25 2013 the show ran. The pilot episode showcased the group's first
promotional single, "Big Time Rush". The group released three studio
albums: BTR in 2010 and Elevate (2011), and 24/Seven (2013). In 2014, the band
was on a hiatus which lasted until 2021. They returned to live performances in
the studio and came out with "Call It Like It's Like It's Looking".
Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush a record agreement in 2009, while also
airing the TV show Big Time Rush. Then, Nickelodeon partnered with
Columbia/Epic Label Group to create the show and include the original music
that was used in the show. The first single from the group, "Big Time
Rush" appeared on the series on the 29th of November, 2009. The
announcement was made by Nickelodeon, the series was first shown in the U.S. in
November 2009 up until the time it was launched worldwide. The series premiered
on a special preview of the series. It is currently the show's theme. The
series also saw the songs released as promotional singles like "City is
Ours" and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also covered the Play
song titled "Famous". It was released on iTunes on June 29, 2010,
Following its series premiere, another song, "Halfway There", became
available on iTunes on April 27, 2010. The band soon became their first
charting song on the Billboard Hot 100. It hit 93 on the list thanks to digital
sales. The second single by Big Time Rush, "Till You Forget About
You", was released on the 21st of September, 2010. The song was released
to promote their debut album. BTR, the album BTR was released on October 11 on
the 11th of October, 2010, a day after the album's release. The album was
released at number three on the Billboard 200. It sold the album at 67,000
copies in its first week.
