Beyonce Giselle Knowles was conceived in Houston, Texas on September 4, 1981. Tina Knowles, her mom is the one who designs the glittery costumes as well as Mathew Knowles is Destiny's Child's manager. Solange, her sister (4 years apart) released her first album. The singer has been quoted as saying that she started an act on stage dubbed "Sasha" in order to conquer her shyness.
