Beyonce Giselle Knowles was conceived in
Houston, Texas on September 4, 1981. Tina Knowles, her mom is the one who
designs the glittery costumes as well as Mathew Knowles is Destiny's Child's
manager. Solange, her sister (4 years apart) released her first album. She
dances with her big sister during DC-3 concerts. Beyonce is of Louisiana Creole
and African descent. The group she and her friends were discovered by Whitney
Houston. Lovefool by The Cardigans is one of her most listened to songs. Her
most coveted piece of clothing is a pair metallic work boots. She is the author
and producer for many of the group's hits, including "Jumpin Jumpin"
and "Bootylicious", “Nasty Girls”, "Independent Women", and
"Happy Face". Singer in the lead of the singing group Destiny's
Child. She opened for Christina Aguilera in 2000. The tour was with TLC as
their opening show (1999). The cat is named Master P. He attended the High
School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas. Solange's bigger
sister and Nixon and Koi Knowles the older half-sister. The two appeared in
Star Search (1983). In 2001, she became the first African American woman to be
awarded the ASCAP Pop Songwriter of the Year Award. She is a great fan of
Middle Eastern music, dance and the Middle Eastern culture. Her most popular

she has performed on in 2003. In November 2003, Bono of U2 organized an South
African AIDS benefit concert. It was a way to combat the AIDS epidemic in sub

also won the most prizes at this year's (2004) performance. Mathew is her
father. The mother of her, Tina, is of Louisiana Creole heritage -
predominantly African and French with ancestors who came from Louisiana and
before that, Canada. Beyonce is also of 1/32 Irish descent and has distant Breton,
Spanish, Indonesian, and Chinese roots on her mother's side and also. The
singer has been quoted as saying that she started an act on stage dubbed
"Sasha" in order to conquer her shyness.
