Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Sparrow was born in McComb (Mississippi) on December 2, 1981 . She moved to Kentwood (Louisiana). As a child, Britney attended dance classes and excelled in gymnastics, winning numerous events and such. However, the most important thing was, Britney loved to sing. Britney was eight years old when the time came for her to be a part of The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) However, her young age led to her being turned down. Her next audition was for "Ruthless" which was an off-Broadway production in which she played in the role of the title character for two years. She attempted to reprise her role in The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) and this time as the mouseketeer. In the mid 90s, Britney was signed by Jive Recording Artist. Britney was a huge hit following the release of her debut album "...Baby another time" in 1999. The album sold over 13 million copies (as of July 2001) of her second album "Oops !...I did it Again" which was released in May 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears (and Jamie Spears) and has a huge sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney was a daughter of Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, was always determined to be a celebrity. After having a lot of singing and dancing classes and participating in numerous talent shows and fairs, Britney was a candidate for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) television series [1989-1994] when she aged eight, but was too young to be able to audition for the part. Instead, Britney, her mother and baby sister relocated to New York where she starred in numerous TV adverts and the off-Broadway show, "Ruthless", where she was a student of Natalie Portman. Britney discovered her passion for music and dance two years later when she auditioned for the role of "Mickey Mouse", winning the part along with Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.
